You hurt people with your rain and wind, 

Turned off power, flooded homes and streets.

This Frankenstorm Hurricane Sandy, 

Stopped cable, electronics, even what heats.

Branches blowing and water flowing, 

leaving many people stranded.

Wires falling and objects flying, 

destruction cause when objects landed.

Flooded buildings, streets and towns,

Making subways and boardwalks water filled.

Rescue workers trying to save all,

Saying " stay off the road if you're unskilled"

Working with one another as a group, 

We will recover this Hurricane Sandy.

Staying off the roads is demands, 

Helping workers it is handy.
