MOTHER'S DAY
Today we join to celebrate you,
and all the great things you do.
You do a lot for this family,
even more than we'll all confess.
You cook and do the laundry,
you clean up after every mess.
You don't just do the dirty work,
you even have time to help us out.
One of us just might need to sit and talk,
or it it's homework we ask about.
You were there for us before,
and I know you always will.
Today we join to celebrate you,
and all the great things you do.
You are the number one mom,
and that is why I love you.
PAIN
I have this pain inside of me,
that I've never felt before.
It's a strong pain,
I thought I'd be free of feeling.
This pain is so strong,
sometimes I cannot function.
With this pain inside of me,
I don't know how I will survive.
The pain,
is a pain in my heart.
For it is broken,
has fallen apart.
This pain was caused by someone I love,
and will love forever more
I thought he loved me in return,
but I must have caused him not to.
This is too much pain for me to live with,
so I might as well not live.
For life without this loved one,
will be a life full of pain and suffering.

On December 31, 1953,
you two said "I do",
and promised to be together,
your whole life through.
"Through sickness and in health",
is what you said that day.
You said "til death do us part",
and I see that is true today.
A great marriage needs communication and language,
friendship, faithfulness, and most importantly love.
Your marriage is a great one,
for it contains all of the above.
After seeing you two together,
so happy and so merry.
I want to have what you have,
with the guy I'm going to marry.
Today we come to celebrate,
your fifty years of love.
I hope you fifty happy more,
Happy Anniversary with lots and lots of love.
ODE TO SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
Today we remember,
the death of so many people.
For on September 11, 2001,
two planes crashed into the twin towers.
People of all ages; race and jobs,
lost their lives that day.
The two towers fell down to the ground,
and will never be the same again.
Some evil people wanted to destroy the United States,
but we are more than two towers standing high in the sky.
We will prove that to them once and for all,
and rebuild twin tower even stronger.
On this day we will remember,
we will cry and we will grieve.
For all our family, friends,
and other brave people who died that day.
Or that same dreadful day,
another tragedy occurred.
Two other planes crashed,
one into the Pentagon the other Somerset PA.
Now many people are lost,
from these evil peoples bad deeds.
More family and friends wondering,
where loved ones are or if they are okay.
This date every year,
will be extremely tough for many.
People ill cry for those lost,
and praise all the brave people who rushed into help.
